Comment: Lolene,
I read your bio and shed silent tears. It was beautiful. I relate to your past and to your dreams. I wish the best for you.

Mr. James Moulton, Philadelphia, PA. Music Critic:
Lolene has a great country voice. Lolene's "Country Music with an attitude" can pick up in the rock influences you hear in her music. Her voice is very emotive and reminds one of greatness. Most of the CD has a contemporary country sound with a lot of electric guitar and even some dual guitar breaks and rock sounding drums. Any nuances were left outside the door, this CD rocks. "The Man I Love" is a traditional country shuffle, and Lolene is at her best sounding a lot like Patsy Cline. A lot of the CD's sound reminds me of early Linda Ronstadt at the height of her country phase. My advice is go to Lolene's site and buy it. This is good as anything coming out of Nashville today.

"Lonely Dealin's" is a 12 song anthology about human relationships. Eleven of the songs are original materials. Since July 2001 Lolene has released six of these songs as singles to worldwide radio market, and three have received wide airplay around the world to appear on the various Top 40 charts in Europe and Australia. The airplay for the lead song on the CD was sufficient to propel "Slow Burn" to #2. World wide airplay of her 2001 releases from the CD were sufficient to propel Lolene to #73 most played artist in the world for all 2001. Airplay for her first release, "Don't Wake Me Up" was so strong that Lolene rose to #11 on the same most played artist during the last 2 weeks of July 2001.
Other tracks worth a mention are "Me Without You", "The Man I Love", "I Will" and "You Never Come"
It is hard for me lately, to review albums as I have received so many and most are equal to and in some cases better than the Top Name Artists, (who sometimes don't have that something, so an 12 track album might only have 5 to 7 decent tracks.) Where the independents I have had the pleasure to listen to have a 100% album. And this is one of them with 12 tracks it is hard to pick an outstanding track as they are all easy to listen to, if I was pressed I would have to say The Man I Love, Me Without You and I Will are my favourites. But my advice is buy the album, place it in player, hit repeat and enjoy.

I have listened to your CD and find it to be a very good one indeed. Your voice is unique and very distinguishable from others these days. You handle the contemporary material very well … The CD is … suited for the American New Country Market [and] … from seeing your songs listed with the European and Australian DJs that you are working in that market… I have a very commercial ear and would be glad to help pick material for your next project. Jim tells me he has pointed you in our direction and I would hope to have the opportunity to produce your next project.

"I am going through a bad time in my relationship and certain songs on your CD came so close to the truth it hurt. Like you said in the song even although that person is not in your life any more it doesn't mean we stop careing for them. ... [This isn't] the reason I enjoyed your CD. It was because I could hear the warmth and sincerity in your voice that made it so special."

Congratulations and thanks a lot for your Album “Lonely Dealin’s”. Great, thrilling voice, great songs – really excellent Country. The whole album is a great Deal. It looks like made of one piece. I hope that you know what I mean, because English isn’t my mother tongue, and sometimes some things might be misunderstood. I think you’re on the right way with your kind of music. I love it.

Next came Sugar Hill Communications of Kentucky and "Music With An Attitude"! It was at this point I was blessed with the opportunity to listen to a talented lady, singer/songwriter and musician named Lolene. Her CD "Lonely Dealins'" has been released and is well worth listening to. . Her music reflects deep traditional roots which are reminiscent of a style that many artists attempt to emulate yet few are ever able to achieve.
