With influence from such a broad range of music artists like Dolly Parton, Carly Simon, Bonnie Raitt, Shania Twain, and The Eagles, what do you think you’re going to get?

I noticed Lolene’s name on the independent playlists last year, and curiosity got the best of me. I contacted her manager, and I will say in all honesty, I was blown away by the sound that came off of the CD I received. Lolene has an old sound with a new twist, and I have to say it…I LIKE IT.

Lonely Dealin’s is her debut CD…and this independent artist should be getting mainstream airplay! Anyone who loves country music will agree with me.

Lolene grew up with a love of music, and a sharp focus on music. Her love for the art is so strong, she eats, sleeps and breathes it. Lolene holds a special place in her heart for Mr. Jimmy Fortune of the Statlers. He has supported her and encouraged her to never give up her dream. Lolene draws from her own life experiences for her songs. Lolene’s songs reflect a keen observation of human relationships.

How many of you remember Lacy J Dalton? When I heard Lolene, that’s who came to mind. The album is well written and well sung, heartfelt and soulful. My favorite song on the CD is Deals Gone Down.
